Our Curriculum
The curriculum at Hempstead Infant School is built around the statutory requirements, the Early Years Foundation stage (ages 3-5) and the National Curriculum 2014 (key stage 1). We are committed to ensuring that children develop the skills and acquire the knowledge to meet and surpass curriculum requirements. We set high standards, and we are focused in our efforts to help children meet those standards. We are also sensitive to the needs and learning patterns of different children, and we try to inspire them to recognise their own potential and work towards achieving it.
